You can easily melt FunCakes Deco Melts in the microwave or a double boiler. Deco Melts can be melted multiple times without any issues. They do not require extra cocoa butter, as the Melts have an ideal thickness for the melting process. If you want a thinner result, you can add a few drops of vegetable oil. If you prefer a thicker result, you can add a few drops of water (note that if you add water, you cannot reheat them).

Tip: You can easily color Deco Melts with one of the many FunColours gel colors.

FunCakes Deco Melts only contain natural colorants, making them AZO-free. The Melts do not contain genetically modified sugar and do not contain soy.

Preparation: Melt in the microwave or double boiler. For microwave: Melt at max. 500W in a bowl. Stir well every 15-20 seconds. Stop heating when the melted Melts are almost completely melted (there will still be small unmelted pieces). Continue stirring until the Melts are smooth and fully melted, then use as desired. Allow to harden in the refrigerator for a better result (10-15 min.). For a thinner result, add a few drops of vegetable oil. For a thicker result, add a few drops of water (if using water, the Melts cannot be reheated).

Due to temperature differences, Deco Melts may melt and deform during transport and storage. They can still be used, but they may not arrive in their original disc shape. Follow the instructions on the package when using Deco Melts.

The Deco Melts are not made from real chocolate, but they taste like creamy white chocolate.

Due to temperature differences, the Deco Melts may melt or acquire a whitish layer (fat bloom) during transport and storage. We assure you that this does not affect the use and/or result of the product. After the melting process, the white layer will disappear, they will function and taste as expected.
