Introduction
At Novapast, we want to offer you the best experience to ensure that you enjoy our service and products. To achieve this, we need to understand your purchasing habits so that we can offer an exceptional and personalized service for you. That said, the privacy and security of your personal data are of great importance to us. For that reason, we want to clearly explain how and why we collect, store, and use your personal data, as well as show you the controls and options available to you for choosing when and how to share your personal data. That is our goal, and we will explain it in more detail in this Privacy Policy ("Policy").
About this Policy
This Policy provides the essential information regarding Novapast's use of your personal data. The Policy applies to all Novapast services and associated services (hereinafter, the "Novapast Service").
Periodically, we may develop new services or offer additional services. If the introduction of these new or additional services results in any change in the way we collect or process your personal data, we will provide more information and additional terms or policies. Unless otherwise stated, when these new or additional services are introduced, they will be subject to this Policy.
The purpose of this Policy is to:
- Ensure that you understand what personal data we collect about you, the reasons why we do it, and with whom we share it;
- Explain how we use the personal data you share with us to provide you with a great experience when using the Novapast Service; and
- Explain your rights and options regarding the personal data we collect and process about you and how we will protect your privacy.
We hope this helps you understand our privacy commitment to you. For information on how to contact us if you have any questions or concerns, please refer to the "How to Contact Us" section below. Also, if you do not agree with the content of this Policy, remember that it is your decision whether you want to use the Novapast Service.
Your Rights and Preferences
You may already know that the new European Union regulation known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants individuals certain rights related to their personal data. Therefore, we have implemented additional access and transparency controls in our Privacy Center and Privacy Settings to help users exercise these rights. Depending on their availability and except where limited by applicable law, the rights granted to individuals are:

- Right to Rectification: the right to request that we correct or update your personal data when they are inaccurate or incomplete;
- Right to Erasure: the right to request the deletion of your personal data;
- Right to Restrict: the right to request the temporary or permanent cessation of the processing of all or some of your personal data;

- the right to object to your personal data being processed for direct marketing purposes;
- Right to Data Portability: the right to request a copy of your personal data in electronic format and the right to transmit those data for use in a third-party service; and
- Right Not to be Subject to Automated Decision-Making: the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated decision-making, including profiling, when the decision could have a legal effect on you or produce a similarly significant effect.
To allow you to exercise these rights easily and register your preferences regarding how Novapast uses your personal data, we will provide you access to the following settings through our page:
My Personal Data: allows you to control some of the categories of personal data we process about you, and gives you access to your personal data.
Notification Settings: allows you to select the communications you receive from Novapast and opt out of receiving newsletters.
Your customer account allows you to control how Novapast processes your personal data. It provides information about what happens if you adjust your settings on your customer page and how to stop receiving certain messages from Novapast. If you receive electronic marketing messages based on your consent or in any other way permitted by applicable law, you can, at any time, respectively withdraw such consent or declare your objection (unsubscribe) at no cost. The electronic marketing messages you receive from Novapast (e.g., those sent via email and/or newsletters) will also include a mechanism to stop receiving messages within the message itself (e.g., an unsubscribe link in the emails we send you, in the footer).
For more information on the GDPR rights described above and the controls we offer to all users of Novapast regarding these rights, see the My Account section. If you have any questions about your privacy, your rights, or how to exercise them, please contact our data protection officer using the "Contact Us" form on our website.
