Unlike conventional gel colors, Colour Mill Oil Blend loves the fats and oils found in your baking, using them to disperse the special coloring formula. This results in surprisingly vibrant, rich, and consistent tones that do not fade. It works especially well in buttercreams, Swiss meringue, chocolate, cake batter, ganache, and sugar pastes. It also works in flower pastes, gumpastes, modeling pastes, marzipan, cake mixes, cakes, frostings, isomalt, confectionery gel, cake lace mixes, and much more. Not only will your cakes look amazing, but Colour Mill will also help you get more value for your money. The high concentration means you use much less than you normally would to achieve even brighter and more colorful results. You only need a drop at a time to achieve the desired shade. We recommend using the tip of a cocktail stick. If you use more drops, you'll increase the color intensity, and if you use less, you'll create softer shades. Increase the color gradually while mixing the batter until you achieve the desired shade. There are over 50 different colors to choose from, each bottle contains 20 ml.
The bottle comes with a dispenser cap for greater precision. Please note that the pigments used in each color vary in weight. Some will weigh more than others, but all colors have the same strength and are filled to the top. Colour Mill can be diluted with alcohol to obtain an edible paint.
